Art Môtiers launched a contest in 2023 to create an illustrated poster. For the occasion, I created about twenty drawings in India ink that can be interpreted as forms reminiscent of works of art, pseudo-functional objects, or elements one might encounter while strolling through a village or in nature.

The works presented at Art Môtiers are thus situated among urban areas, rivers, caves, fields, and forests, and I was deeply fascinated by this idea of exploring the various locations of the artworks. This is what inspired me to create these simple drawings, which are emblematic of this event and its journey.

The Supero studio in La Chaux-de-Fonds, which designed the event’s visual identity, incorporated these drawings into their graphic design. The drawings were thus used across all communication materials for this exhibition: F4 posters, flyers, merchandise, and social media.
