« The Room » is a contemporary drawings exhibition curated by Adrien Chevalley who took place during a three exhibitions concept organized by Rats Collective in Vevey, 2011.
The artists invited worked to make a proposal on how exhibiting lots of drawings and how artists could interact together: Isabelle Racine & Laura Thiong-Toye, Céline Burnand, Pierre Bonard, Giom, Thomas Koenig, Florian Javet, Michael Rampa, Fred Bott, Nicolas Geiser & Adrien Chevalley each drew on the wall and then placed/played with some drawings over other’s mural.

Collective exhibition called « Graphic Art » at Kissthedesign gallery in Lausanne, with A3Collectif & Zeitguised. My drawings where about « Vestiges », a theme who fit perfectly with my melancholic work. It was about time, feelings & photographic details that remain in mind when we wake up. For the exhibition, I created with the help of Marie-Lise Forbach-Gasser some physical relics, jewels, necklace signs we can wear. I went in the direction where the jewels doesn’t shine. It’s more like an archaeologist discovery. A special technique to print on Silver 925 was developed. The drawings are made with China Ink, color pencils, prints & watercolor.

I’ve been invited by the Ecav school director, Sybille Omlin, to take part in an exhibition for the « Triennale d’art contemporain en Valais ».
I presented a portion of a work in progress serie, « One drawing per day », that you can see all here on my Tumblr. The technics are pencil, china ink & paints on 365 A4 standard or colored paper.

Astrid Florentinus, an illustration student from Utrech, Netherland ask the collective Themes (Thomas Koenig & Mathias Forbach) to do a internship. We offered her the possibility to organise an exhibition and to produce a fanzine. She invited different artists from Vevey.

Seven inches vynil sleeve illustrations and graphic design for one of the best swiss electronic musician & producer and friend Feldermelder.
I asked Astrid Florentinus, a dutch gifted illustrator, to work together on this project. We keep the china ink on tracing paper technique to mix our drawings, putting each of them over each others, while we were not working at the same place. The result is drawings on drawings, limited in a 300 hand numbered vinyl records serie on Bern’s Luana Records. Animation by: Niklaus Hofer
